The UK Pavilion

The UK Pavilion will be at the forefront of the International Water Association (IWA) World Water Congress and Exhibition which is taking place in Glasgow next year from the 4th-8th October 2026.

With over 10,000 people expected to attend the five-day event in Glasgow, the UK Pavilion offers a prime opportunity to showcase the very best of UK technology, innovation, climate adaptation, and the passion that drives the country’s water industry.

Dr Marie Whaley, Congress Lead, International Water Association said “We are thrilled to be bringing our flagship event to the SEC Glasgow in 2026 and are confident Glasgow provides the ideal backdrop to foster relationships and drive discussions which support the global community in transitioning to sustainable water solutions that are robust and flexible in the face of global change pressures”.

Who are we?

This Congress, we have collaborated with many prominent supply chain partners who work up and down the country with the UK water sector. These are:

All 16 water companies which serve and operate within the UK will be represented, as well as the Institute of Water, who host the IWA’s UK committee.

The Faces Behind the Pavilion

For this Congress, the UK Pavilion is being led by four Young Water Professionals (YWPs) from across the UK, each taking responsibility for a different aspect of the project. Entrusting YWPs with leadership roles has been an important part of the Congress, reinforcing that the involvement of early career professionals should not be a tick-box exercise, but a meaningful opportunity to showcase their skills, contribute to the sector, and access tangible opportunities for career development.
