The UK Pavilion
The UK Pavilion was at the forefront of the International Water Association (IWA) World Water Congress and Exhibition which took place in Glasgow from the 4 - 8 October 2026.
With nearly 9,000 attending the five-day event in Glasgow, the UK Pavilion offered a prime opportunity to showcase the very best of UK technology, innovation, climate adaptation, and the passion that drives the country’s water industry.
Our Partners
In Glasgow, we collaborated with many prominent supply chain partners who work up and down the country with the UK water sector. These were:
16 water and utility companies which serve and operate within the UK were represented, as well as the Institute of Water, who host the IWA’s UK committee.
The Faces Behind the Pavilion
The planning and execution of the UK Pavilion was led by four Young Water Professionals (YWPs) from across the UK, each taking responsibility for a different aspect of the project. Entrusting YWPs with leadership roles was an important part of the Glasgow Congress, reinforcing that the involvement of early career professionals should not be a tick-box exercise, but a meaningful opportunity to showcase their skills, contribute to the sector, and access tangible opportunities for career development.
